Transporation

The nearest airports to Byron Bay are Ballina Byron (45 mins drive) and Gold Coast (1hr 15mins drive). Virgin Australia, Jetstar, Tiger Air and Qantas have daily fights from Melbourne and Sydney. From either airport there are regular shuttle buses to Byron Bay or you can hire a car.

We recommend staying at any of the accommodation options listed to the right. Please book early - Byron gets very busy!
